Maya Textile was founded in 1993 to manufacture sleep products including pillows, quilts, sleep pads, accessories, and created the first pillow and quilt brands of the Turkish home textile industry.

Our Story started at a 250 m2 space to promote the practice of healthy and high - quality sleep in Turkey. Today, we manufactured at our 46,000 m2 plants in Akyazı, Sakarya. The Plant is among the most advanced plants in Europe.

Our achievement as a manufacturer is marked by a longstanding history, our business expertise, innovative strength, and R&D investments.
R&D and P&D: We manufacture a variety of high-quality pillows, quilts, mattress protectors, and sleep pads at our plant.

We also fill lace pillows and cushions for Turkey’s leading furniture manufacturers with various quality and comfort options as well as down jackets for leading fashion brands.

The Company founded Mayoca a high-quality down & feather processing plant in 2007 with Italian partners. Mayoca’s annual washing down and feather capacity reached 800 TONS.

Penelope Dorme has been serving the hospitality business for 25 years now by manufacturing customized pillows, quilts, pads, and protectors for many hotels in Turkey and abroad.

We can design different products according to the needs of every type of hotel including chain and boutique.
Our sales team, who are experienced in their fields and in the sector, are able to develop special product recipes in a meeting with their material samples and product models they bring with them.

Afterward, we are able to produce pillows, quilts, sleeping pads, pillow protectors, and mattress protectors in the desired size, filling, fabric, sewing, quilting patterns, piping, and labels.

NOMITE

The NOMITEmark indicates that a product is suitable for house-dust-mite-allergy sufferers: because down- and feather filled products offer excellent thermal and climatic conditions for humans (rapid warming up when one is sleeping, a rapid decrease in humidity when the bedding is aired), they provide very poor habitat for house dust mites, which rely on high humidity to live.

The tight weave of the down- and feather-proof fabric acts as a barrier preventing the mites from passing through and offers, thus, additional protection. So that also those who suffer from house dust allergies or asthma can enjoy the natural comfort afforded by down and feather bedding. This has been demonstrated by scientific research.

TENCEL®

TENCEL Tencel fiber is a regenerated cellulose fiber extracted from eucalyptus trees. Its natural form makes it soft, almost with a silky touch. The fiber humidity rate is 13 percent in Tencel, while it is 1 percent in polyester. The natural humidity rate makes Tencel a fiber without electrostatic charge or voltage. This ensures a comfortable sleep and a full rest. The muscle system relaxes and regenerates. Tencel is natural and breathable. It transfers humidity well and does not make you uncomfortable when you sweat. It maintains its brightness and color after being washed many times. It has a high color sensitivity. Tencel prevents bacteria. It is a natural protection against bacteria. Cellulose fiber used to make Tencel ensures perfect humidity management and decreases the bacteria formation rate. It helps prevent bacteria formation without any chemical additives.

Advanced fiber quilt is washable and carries anti-mite properties due to its fiber structure, extremely soft; very light, breathable, and warm.
