Megan, the founder of CLOVO, has a background in astrogeophysics and engineering. Using her knowledge of environmental studies, material science, and physics, she created the most comfortable sheer tights, made from trees.
Growing up wearing sheer tights & hating how they sagged, itched, and ripped easily, she wanted to create ones that would support women rather than leave them with wardrobe malfunctions. Looking at the design first, she recognized that it is rather simple and very uncomfortable. She created a physics based design that eliminates sag, is form fitting to women of all body tights, and adds longevity. Next, looking at the material of tights, which is oil based nylon, she recognized how harmful it is for a woman’s body and the environment. She went to a few material trade shows and found a new material called Tencel, which is made from wood fibers. This material corrected a lot of tights problems, including: itch, easy ripping, and skin irritation. The product with the design and material change is called EverTights. She now also makes RevoTights that are the same material, just without the short. She also now makes women’s natural underwear.
