MODU'I's ceramic wares are created using premium refined white clay that is heated under 1300 degrees, producing a clean product that does not have any scratches, odor, or colored spots.
All MODU'I's ceramic ware undergo a strict, manual quality control process from heating, reheating, proofing, to the final inspection. Our products are made from materials that are safe for human consumption, and can be used safely without worrying about potential injury caused by product design or the presence of toxic materials like heavy metals.
In a test conducted by Korea Institute of Ceramic Engineering and Technology, our products does not contain any toxic materials.
Silicone
MODU'I platinum silicone commonly used as a base for baby pacifiers and medical devices. It is an eco-friendly material derived from sand. It can withstand temperatures from -40°C to 230°C safely and it is a semi-permanent material that is safe for human consumption as it does not react to temperature changes while being a fairly stable material that does not react chemically.
Used as one of the raw materials by globally renowned Dow Corning Korea Ltd, this material is created via a platinum catalyst, so users do not have to worry about the presence of toxic substances or endocrine-disrupting chemicals. It is a product that can be used hygienically and can be 99% sterilized under boiling water or by heating it in the microwave.
